Field Trips
Visit us at 119 N. Salisbury Street in Downtown Mocksville for morning filled with hands-on exploration that aligns with NC Standard Course of Study. Field trips take place from 9:00am-12:00pm and include 45 minutes at the end for students to eat lunch.
Cost per student: $8 Limit of three classes per day.

5 Sensational Senses
Students will use their 5 senses to experience the world in a whole new way! From comparing different tastes to describing the feel of unknown objects students will have a great time expanding their understanding of the world around them and learning how their senses can keep them safe.

Students will use imagination, teamwork, and engineering to explore what a force is and how we can change the speed and direction of objects that are in motion. We will even explore how to make objects move without touching them!

Have you ever seen sound? Have you ever felt it? Students will explore sound with us in ways they never have before while learning all about what makes it an important form of energy.

Wild Weather
Students will become meteorologists for the day during this field trip! They will learn about the different tools used to study the weather and learn how to make some of their own. They will also practice predicting the weather based on their findings!
